Dirt clods and broccoli.

Almost done with this falls digging. Some cabbages, kale and broccoli stand in the way. Next week I’ll have to harvest the most of them so that I can finish.

The broccoli was harvested first a month or so ago, but little ones keep poping up in between the branches. These are just as good, if not better, and the greens around them are excellent and have been good sellers at the market. The cabbages will be sauerkrauted, and the kales hold out in place until the really harsh winter storms tear them apart.

Or dig around them.

Here, some black radishes that are tough, and some pac choi that seem to be surviving. If they survive, there may be some early greens and later seeds for saving.
