We’re back again this year to see stuff, buy plants and seeds and meet people. My favorite this year is this rolling green house.
The big garden show is going on now in Älvsjö Stockholm. It is quite a bit better than last years – bigger, more together and much more inspiring.
Quite a crowd at our favorite eco seed company.
A bicycle powered smoothie maker at the urban gardiners exhibit.
An oasis for bees and all kinds of bugs.
Besides stocking up on some hard to find supplies and gaining inspiration, I spent a small fortune on plants. Here are three heritage prune trees and a blue rhododendron.
It’s a rainy day, so I skipped out and went to town – Stockholm.
First I took my morning coffee and read the newspaper (fika) at my favorite old fashioned coffee house – Vete Katten. Then I met a former colleague for a long lunch. Then visited my old workplace (I’m retired since may) for a jovial reunion. This picture is the view we had to look at everyday from the front windows. Then I took a walk along the waterfront to the Modern Museum.
The ship is a youth hostel. The Modern Museum is in the park behind.
Niki de Saint Phalle in the museum garden.
