We picked the remaining apples from our tree including good ground falls, washed them and took them to the apple press at Ransta Trädgård.

Now we have about 40 liters of delicious apple juice to drink up quickly, or freeze in, or make cider or wine. In the end some will become apple cider vinegar.

How many apples did you have? I have about 70 pounds (30+ kg) waiting until I can get the portable cider press to make cider.
We had about 60 kg. It’s nice to have your own. But I’m glad to take it to the local one. They are old friends too, so it’s a good occasion to get together.
I hope we have enough containers by the time can get the press, and that are apples will hold up till then (10/10). They’re in boxes on our deck. Fortunately the weather is starting to cool off.
They should hold a couple of weeks at least. Depends which type.
